Welcoming the feelings may seem counterintuitive, but it's a necessary step in the process of letting go. As you'll learn when you delve deeper into letting go with Letting Go, the more you resist a feeling, the stronger its hold on you becomes. When you welcome a feeling, however, the resistance fades away while your ability to let the feeling go gets stronger. Simply welcoming a feeling fully can often allow it to dissolve completely.

After welcoming the feeling, ask yourself in this moment if you could simply let go. By allowing yourself to welcome what you feel and then letting it go, you will immediately feel relief. This will also bring you more access to your intuitive knowing-ness and the clarity of clear reason required for you to weather the storm.

The next step is to also welcome any feelings of wanting to understand or figure out what to do. The more you want to figure out what you should or shouldn't be doing the more confused you will be. When we want to understand or figure out what to do we are looking in the wrong place for the answer. We are looking away from our clear reason and intuitive knowing into the memory banks of what was which may have nothing to do with what is currently true. As you let go of wanting to figure it out you will naturally and easily know exactly what to do.

Again, one of the keys to unlocking your ability to make the right financial decisions lies in first welcoming your fears and then letting them go. By doing this you take a step back, reconnect with your inner knowingness and then will move forward with a sound mind. Here are some questions you can ask to help find your center if you are feeling anxious:

Could you allow yourself to welcome in this feeling of _____ as best you can?
Check to see if you have any sense of wanting to change/be rid of the feeling.
If so, could you allow yourself to have this feeling?
Would you?
When?
Check to see how you feel now. Do you feel less________? Less anxious? Either way is there more wanting to change/be rid of it?
If so could you let go of wanting to change it?
Would you if you could?
When?

Repeat this process as many times as it takes for you to feel lighter and at peace. There may be many layers to what you have to release, but once you release something, it’s gone for good.

Remember to allow yourself to let go of wanting to figure out what to do and to let go of wanting to get the answer from the past. As you follow your heart as opposed to your head, you will find that right now you have everything that you need right within you.
